The Best Images of 2016: McDonald Creek, Glacier National Park, Montana
Well, another year has come and gone and what I like to do in January of the new year is to look back through my portfolio to find my ten favorite images from the previous year. I’m happy to report I did find ten I liked!
The first is an image of colored stones along the banks of McDonald Creek in Glacier National Park, Montana. It’s been months since we visited the park and when I look back on the images from there, I’m still amazed at the surreal landscape. The tumbled stones found there remind me of the colored stones you might see at the bottom of an aquarium. For this image, I waited for just the right break in the water to complete the composition.
