The Best Images of 2016: Little River Smoky Mountain National Park Tennessee
I spent a few days in the Smoky mountains this past Autumn photographing the Fall colors, mountains, trees, and of course, the beautiful rivers that flow through the Great Smoky Mountain National Park…
This is one of my faves from that trip. I was attracted to the yellow leaves first and foremost… and after climbing around the rocks and setting up my tripod a bunch of times, I finally settled on this composition.
The yellow leaves drop into the image from the top, the white water creates a little diagonal line, and there’s even some depth to the shot as you can see up river and notice a little reflection in the still water.
